Adverse weather?

My iPhone is in Louisville and ups is reporting adverse weather!! I checked on my handy phone and it says generally clear skies! What's up with that??

Getting out of Louisville may not be the problem - the planes could be delayed getting into Louisville.

We've had hellish weather tonight, although it seems to have calmed down now. (Tampa, FL)
 
I guess I was delayed out of Alaska. I wonder if it missed its flight?!

In the same boat as you OP. our phones are on the exact same flight. My guess is it was late leaving Alaska. It says arrival scan in Louisiville, KY so it's in KY right? If so, it's not impossible for it to get to me by tomorrow hopefully. Louisville isn't too far away. :confused:
 
From here is 5 hours or less to anywhere in the US, World port cranks out the most shipments 11p-4am. I saw some where that they have an arrival or departure every 2 or so minutes at night. It will be in your town by sun up.
 
Yep, mine is showing an exception too. :(. and if it doesn't get in tomorrow, my university mail room is closed until Wednesday. Hope UPS doesn't give up on the shipment!
 
The entire state of Florida was covered in pretty nasty weather today but mine flew from Louisville to Miami this afternoon with no problems.

I'm waiting for a ups supervisor. Right now they are saying Saturday...

But I want a supervisor bc the rep is saying it was always scheduled for Saturday... Which of course is not the case!! There were no iPhone saturday deliveries.

I can send screenshots of at least my shipment showing today.

Speaking of, how many times will UPS retry a destination before giving up?
 
Supervisor said... The package is moving and may still make a flight tonight. He was probably just trying to shut me up and get off the phone... But I'll just hope he is right. He said he thinks tomorrow will be the day. Otherwise apple says they have to attempt on saturday
 
We ship hundreds of packages a day, its a pretty common ups message.

More than likely, all will be fine.
 
My iPhone 5's were in Louisville, KY for 3 days. Just checked my tracking, and now they are in California as of 4:51 P.M.:)

Just checked mine and it had the weather exception. PUSHED UNTIL MONDAY!!!
 
The supervisor said if it isn't tomorrow it
Would be Saturday. Mine is back on time though it is still in Louisville.

Does anyone know if ups has their own airstrip in Louisville? He said they do and that the package can get on a later flight bc of this.
 
Mine finally arrived to Orlando this evening as ready to be put on the truck tomorrow. Whew.

I hope you all get yours on time.
 
Props to UPS... My phone is out for delivery! It caught a 3:40 am flight to so cal. Here's to hoping the ups man rings the doorbell and waits til I open it!
