It may be a stupid question but i was wondering if there was a mac software to remove adverts from videos, either in .avi or .mp4. I have a lot of TV programs on my iMac recorded off the TV, the machine that records them splits them up into chapters but i was wondering if there was any way to remove the advert sections or just remove chapters.
Also is there a good program to combine 2 video files i used imovie but it takes forever, i just need to add one on to the end of the other.

Thanks.

hey man, i know its a bit late of a reply hahaha.

i find quicktime pro a really really handy program for all that kind of stuff. you can select the parts that you want down to the nearest point of a second and delete them out.

it does cost you, but it is DEFIANTLY worth your while.

just as a small ponder, do you have eyetv? if so they provide excellent software to cut out ads, the whole program is written for that sole purpose.
