Advice for lenses on a Nikon D7000...

I mostly shoot it at 200mm, and I'd mostly shoot a 50-150 at 150mm, so for me it would be a fine alternative.

If you mostly shoot it a 200, it's like if you preferred a 120-300 to a 70-200 in FX, so you're not somebody who is looking for the "70-200" concept.

I think most people who are buying it for DX is by inertia or because they want a "300" lens.

It doesn't matter if I shoot FX or DX, I still tend to be at the long end of the lens- I don't shoot for "concepts" of focal lengths, I visually frame using what I have.
