Advice needed : looking for a 2nd hand mac compatible voice recorder

appreciate any experiences you might like to share re compatability / functions , pro's ,con's and all that ..


..done the google bit but so much conflicting info so thought I'd ask on here , been good to me before ..

anyone ? ...it seems not many voice recorders/dictaphones are Mac compatible .


I'm looking for one which could take SD cards , has voice activation , settings for quality would be a bonus .

I'm based in the UK

or do I need to use a windows based PC just so I can record then edit what I need too ?
