Does anyone have advice on how to clean the Magic Keyboard for iPad?

I use a very light cleaning spray (I think designed for displays mainly) and cloth on my iMac’s Magic Keyboard but for some reason I’m a bit nervous about doing that with the backlighting. Should I be?

Thanks in advance.

This is what Apple says:
  • Use only a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cloths, towels, paper towels, or similar items.
  • Avoid excessive wiping, which might cause damage.
  • Unplug all external power sources, devices, and cables.
  • Keep liquids away from the product, unless otherwise noted for specific products.
  • Don't get moisture into any openings.
  • Don't use aerosol sprays, bleaches, or abrasives.
  • Don't spray cleaners directly onto the item.
I'm using the cloth that I use when I'm cleaning my glasses. It's not the same cloth. I've just had too much to spare.

given the current situation, do you think i can clean it with alcohol wipes?
I’d suggest using something damp (as opposed to wet)—so maybe a cotton cloth with a bit of alcohol on it rather than a ‘wet wipe’.

I also can’t speak to the effect of alcohol on that silicone coating so proceed with caution.

i've been using Clorox wipes on my Smart Keyboard Folio which has the same outer material with no issue. I've used it on the key surface too but the Magic Keyboard will be different, moisture can get in, so I suspect the Clorox will still be safe but you just have to be careful to not let drips of liquid get on the keys, a mostly dry wipe or a soft cloth with limited disinfectant spray applied carefully should be fine.

Hey all
I have spilled a little bit of my drink yesterday in at the keyboard
and now the space button feels a bit sticky!
is there a way clean under the space button or something?
