Hello good mac community,

I ask here because i know of no other online community as vibrant and helpful and this one, and i've been here for a while...

I am thinking of getting started as a freeland 3d modeler and renderer. I have no idea how to begin.

How do I get started getting income for modeling and rendering?
Is there an online agent service for such a thing?
Should i create a website and start a business?

I already have my own hardware, and am very skilled at a variety of media and 3d modeling softwares... i'm just looking for some independent income...

thanks for any advice!

There is usually a descent amount of freelance requests on the gamedev.net forums. You have to take a long hard look though because some projects are kids or students that think they can make the next World of Warcraft but there are also a lot of real projects going on.

Generally they will want to see a portfolio so you will need a website that showcases your work.
