Advice on video card for Mac Pro

Hi all,

I'd like to boost 3d graphics performance with X-Plane running on a Mac Pro 2009 (Model 4,1, Quad-Core 2.66, 12gb RAM) which currently has the stock GT120 card. What are my options?

ATI 5770 and 5870 are your best options, unless you are willing to flash a PC card (though those two would still be your best choices).

Personally, I'd wait till the release of Lion since there are rumours that it will support standard PC cards.
