Advice sought for Airport Base Station

Hi Guys,

I just came into possession an Airport Base Station. Its one of those old silver (grey if you shall) ones with only one ethernet port. Its about a couple years old and the problem is that it crashes a whole lot. I was wondering if I could get it into an Apple Store for repair (if so how much?) or maybe they could let me do an upgrade of sorts or even a swop...

Is it worth a try? Any help would be appreciated!

not worth it. Its an original one, so its about 5 or 6 yrs old. There are also rumors of a new express or 802.11n base station.

Oh that sucks. So am I just supposed to toss this thing? I have an AE and though it might atleast extend my range... dammit!🙄
