I have just purchased my very first mac :)
It is the MacBook Pro retina 15 inch - 16GB of RAM and 512 GB SSD.

I need to install Windows (probably will go with windows7). I will be installing Visual Studio 2012 and SQL Server, and Microsoft office. Which is the best set up for me with these programs? Bootcamp or Parallels or both?

Also if going with bootcamp what size of partition would be recommended for this setup?

    Thx

I would go for a 80GB partition if you plan to run Windows via Boot Camp.

Make sure you're formatting the right partition during setup. :D And yeah, Boot Camp is always going to be the better choice.
