MBP simply doesn't have enough room to cool that processor, Apple is chasing the thinner the better so those chip will never get the performance they are capable of.

The MacBook Pro’s do pretty well, the 15” is 6 cores and the 13” is quad cores. They did have issues in the beginning with the i9, but they did later fix it.

Honestly, I think you and many are over reacting. I GET the keyboard issue, but if you wait it will be another issue! Its always something! Always.... PLUS apple will stand true to its name and replace the keyboard if faulty... I honestly don't think waiting years for a 'magic fix' will fix anything....

There’s nothing “magical” about a reliable keyboard. Every other manufacturer has it. Apple has had it previously too. Let’s not pretend it’s a holy grail, it’s totally routine.

Dumb question so what happens if the processor can’t be cooked? Slows down ?
What happens when any CPU doesn't have enough thermal room is that it will "throttle" in order to cool the CPU therefore it runs at lower speed.
Exactly the same as UKbeast mentioned above.
