Can you be more specific on what this means? I am a little confused. Are you saying that they have a driver that allows a 2006 mac pro (EFI32) to boot into snow leopard loading 64 bit kernel? Is this just in a virtual environment or something?

On my 2008, which supports booting into SL in 64 bit mode, I can now do so while also running Vmware. Vmware was the only program I have that didn't run in 64 bit mode.

Did you notice any performance improvements running VMware under the 64bit kernel?

I'd like to know the answer to that as well. I upgraded to Ver 3 because I had to  as I boot into 64bit. I think the only benefit will be assigning more ram to the guest OS or booting from an SSD.
