Adware / Scam???

Just in the past few days, I started getting this popup for a media play to download (which I have not). It is named dmgthefile.com. Looking into it, the company is from NE Washington state, less than 6 months old and with an unnamed owner, all of which is suspicious. My question is how do I get this thing to stop appearing? I just ran Malwarebytes and it took off 2 items I did not recognize so am waiting to see if this thing pops up in a separate window again.

You should be okay with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. (Don't forget to clean the Caches and Cookies).
You may want also to download EasyFind (free) to search for specific files and delete them, if need be.
