Hi,

i have multiple (well, gazillion is a better word and putting each on it's own layer manually would be too much) objects in illustrator and need to import it in after effects but all objects need to be on it's own layer.

How do you distribute the objects on it's own layer either in illustrator or after effects without having to do it manually?

Thanks

I'm not 100% sure about this one, but I believe you break the layers up into Illustrator, and then in After Affects, when you import choose "cropped layers" and that should import everything into a comp layer. Then if you open up the comp, you should see all of your layers separately. Hopefully that will work for you.
