I'm having a problem getting on to ABC.com's watch now tv shows. I have a MacBook with Leopard, Motorola modem and the AEBS router. I talked with Apple's service tech guys for 2 hours last night trying to figure it out with no solution. When I open the tv show a their video viewer comes up and tells me that only people in the US can watch it. I'm in North Carolina. I direct connected the modem to the Macbook and I could watch it. I can pickup my neighbor's unsecured wireless and watch it. Both of us have Charter cable.

Any suggestions besides watching the shows off my neighbors signal or try using a proxy server?

Oh yeah, I even went back to a previous firmware on it and still no luck.

If I'd run into a problem like that, one of my first experiments would be to surf to http://whatismyip.org/ from the connection that worked, and then from the connection that didn't work (and write down the results, might help the technical support).

Another thing to try is to unplug the modem (and the airport too, why not?) completely for several minutes, then plugging in the AEBS and try again.

Hint - You can edit your previous posts to add information, no need to post again. :)

Thanks.

I've tried reseting both of them several times also. I don't know. I might just bum off my neighbor and call it good. I have found a few sites that have shows on them also. I might use those until I can get this fixed.
