So just switched from Graphic to Affinity Designer based in no small part on the discussion here (thank you). Not being a pro - meaning my time isn't important enough to justify the work-flow optimization and won't develop the necessary experience to leverage the advantages to justify Adobe.
So been working some vector map files and the app crashes about x / hour. Apple-S is my friend, and only loose a few mins of work when loading the recovery file so I'm ok with all of this because I find the app superb and intuitive.
Running a mac pro 16" 2019 with the highest end I9 processor, but cheaped out on Ram with only 16Gb displaying to a LG 27" 5k monitor.
Willing to upgrade to speed up and solve the crash problem.
The file sizes I slinging are 33Mb but I'm not sure if that is relevant.
Can you all school me on what else I need to capture and a good route to solution this issue?
