iPad Pro Affinity Photo 2 keeps crashing?

I make a lot of graphic designs and have for the past 26 years. I've been using Affinity Photo and Affinity Photo 2 for years now without no fault. As of late I am seeing the program crash on my M4 iPad Pro 13." Is this because I am putting too much of a load on the memory or is it something else? Thinking about buying a laptop, but I'd rather stick with the iPad Pro if I could avoid these annoying little problems. Can someone give me some clarity on what is going on with my iPP?

Has the app been updated recently? That’s the first thing I would suspect.

whichversion of iPadOS? which version exactly of Affinity Photo 2? Does the problem occur when you use the free Affinity Studio? Could you share an example file, so others can check? I not, maybe some description of that content… dimension, nu,ber of layers, etc. and what are you doing before Affinity Photo is shutting down? O4 does it take the whole iPad out?
