I am close to finishing up a year long project with multiple movies within FCE. I am going to export them to iDVD where I have a design picked out and ready to go.

I have to distribute the DVD out to about 15 people once its complete, so naturally I have to make multiple copies of it.

Is it better to make these copies through iDVD (which presumably takes longer), or can I use the disc utility to simply make an image of the disc and copy it onto a new DVD that way?

What will result in better quality?

Thanks!

I always save my iDVD projects as a disk image. You can make DVDs from the image using Disk Utility any time. If the burn fails, which is very rare, you haven't wasted a DVD.
