After Effects - Macbook 9400m

Anyone have anecdotal evidence of After Effects (anywhere from v6.5-cs4) running well on their 9400m-era Macbooks?

I run v6.5 on a GMA 950 platform with pretty awful results. Is this a GMA 950 bottleneck, or Rosetta?
