For three days now, my iPhone 15 Pro Max rings, then before I can answer, the incoming call is cut off. The caller gets a message, "sorry there is no reply" and the caller does not reach voicemail. This happens for all callers. Initially everything pointed to this being a problem with the mobile company, perhaps the no-answer timer being mis-set, and I have asked the company to remotely reprovision my eSIM.
But then I decided to put in my Spanish SIM (my handset has one physical SIM slot) and I found that calls to that number had the same problem. I've tried every suggestion that's been made by AI helpers, and then I realised this all started after the update to iOS 26.2.1, so at the moment it looks like it's an iOS or hardware issue.
Has anyone else had such an issue, and was there a solution? Thanks in advance for any responses.
