That the iPhone 7 is going to look like the 6/6s with those ugly dual cameras and the stripes....

Well all the leaks so far for the SE and smaller iPad Pro were real

Not exactly.

The leaks for the iPhone SE said it could be based on the old iPhone 5 design, based on the iPhone 6 design, or a third design that was a sort of mix of the two. So whoever was making the predictions for the iPhone SE was really hedging, no matter what 4" design Apple used, they could say they were right.

The leaks for the 9.7" iPad Pro predicted a slightly wider design, which was wrong. Other than that, the predictions were devoid of physical details.

Has there been much in the way of actual leaks for iPhone 7, or just random rumors and people's guesses and concepts based on different rumors (some of which don't even really agree with each other)?

Dual cameras aren't a problem. If they could kill that God-awful camera bulge, the 6/6S would have been a near flawless design. And now they brought it to the iPad Pro. :(

OP is smart -

DIdn't you guys catch the recycle/reuse presentation? That lasted for about 15-20minutes? They want to brainwash you into thinking how great it is to reuse old stuff. Hence the iPhone 5S Pro aka iPhone SE and the future iPhone 7 design will be the same.

An absolute given; there is no way it will be designed differently. It's so boring (6), but I do need to upgrade my 5S with the boring design iPhone 7 and later upgrade my iPhone 6+ for an 8 or even 8S.
How is anything absolute or no way at this point? How many numbered models were basically the same design with a few minor tweaks?

And the number 23 that was there in many places, and all that it means.

The 3 to the 4 was a drastic change as the 5 to the 6. So I would expect the 6 to the 7 to be a design change, which I doubt very much. The design change will happen in the 8, sadly a long wait.

3 to 4 was a design change, 4 to 5 was a design change, 5 to 6 was a design change, seems like more things pointing to 6 to 7 being a design change as well.

As long as Apple is going to continue to make iPhones very thin and (in my opinion) "slippery" feeling I'll keep using the leather case. Makes it easier to grab the phone, but obscures the design. I don't even think about the antenna lines on my phone anymore. I'm guessing lots of other feel the same way.

I'm hoping for that too. But I've been paying attention to the leaks (I know they don't hold any truth or validity), but it seems to me, at least, the iPhone 7 is a thinner version of the 6 with similar DNA aesthetics. I hope I'm wrong. I really want a redesign.

I've always had the Apple leather case since the 5S. If I do get the 7, I'm going by way of a clear case or even better, a clear shield front and back if they even make that.

I didn't get that from the recycle video.
The design of the 5/5s was a classif design and I feel it was Apple's best. I regretted giving my 5s to a family member when I got my 6 because I really loved the design.
I am getting the SE in rose gold because I loved the design so much, and I think Apple simply have people what they wanted in a classic design.

All i see is that front of my iPhone, I have a case on 24/7.

On the odd occasion I'll take it off, but even when I do I don't mind the design, I admit it has flaws but iOS over shadows them IMO.

We've only had one or two case leaks for the iPhone 7 and one of them was said to be fake. I do think that as time goes on we will get more rumours and they will probably prove to be accurate which has been the case for the past year or so.

So it looks like the iPhone 7 will not have a headphone jack, will be waterproof and hopefully will have wireless charging based on the main rumours so far. No idea about the design. If the pro model rumours persist then they will probably pan out. As long as it's not bulky, significantly worse looking than the normal 7+ that's the model I'll go for.

Whilst it seems a bit boring to use a three year old design, it's a beautiful one. Probably my favourite out of all the iPhones so far.

It is my favourite design. Absolutely favourite.
I've figured out what I'm going to do.
I've got an old iPad that I dropped and cracked the screen. I hadn't bothered fixing it because ever since the iPhone 6 came out I've been doing everything on it.
So....I'll get the iPhone SE in rose gold *YAY* unlocked, for overseas travel, and I'll get the iPad Pro in 256GB. I'll use that for movies and TV shows and keep my iPhone SE for music. Because I'll keep music only on my iPhone, the 64GB will be enough. My iPad will be my laptop replacement. Keep the laptop just for iTunes and whatevs.
PERFECT solution for me.
