I have a AlumImac, Long story short. I had to reboot my install disc to recover. I did the "Archive install" It worked, but now everything runs really slow way slower than normal. What can I do or didn't do?

Hi!

Check with Activity Monitor if there are any processes slowing down your system.

Open Activity Monitor (Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor.app) and click on the column CPU to sort it by that column (clicking it again reverses the sort order in case you need to do that).

Are there any processes showing up at the top eating a lot of CPU time?
