After reboot all saved associations disappear HELP

Hmm this is a weird problem, everytime I reboot, all my preferred file, browser, etc, associations revert to default. Let's say I make firefox my default browser after reboot its safari, or make some file to be associated with particular app, after reboot it reverts to default. Any help is appreciated.

sounds like you launch services database is corrupt.

i would try to rebuild this database using ONYX or similar utility.
