after reinstall my magic mouse and keyboard are not working properly

so Iv e had various problems with my mac so did a clean reinstall, now my magic mouse wont scroll and my the f buttons on my wireless keyboard don't work ie volume buttons, i've checked the system preferences and all is well there, any ideas????

i have a 2008 24' imac

If you installed Leopard on that Mac, you'll need to update it to 10.5.8.

installed the osx update and everything ok😀😀

Perhaps the problem with drivers?
After all, they are responsible for the work function keys, is not it?

after the update everything now working as it should!!!
