Hi guys,

I've got a replacement for my iPad Pro 11" (2018) and restored it from a backup.

Somehow I had real trouble, first with iMessages (not showing up/syncing), then with safari tabs and other iCloud-related services.
Eventually I managed to get it back(?), by signing out off Apple ID and restart and turning the services off an on.

NOW one problem remains:

On iPad in Photos it keeps saying at the bottom "Uploading 1 Item". And that for more than 24 hours now.
The numbers of Photos and Videos are matching iPad and iPhone and I also checked icloud.com ---

Does anyone know what that is?

I am really not keen to contact Apple Support again, because the last two times now about the iCloud-services I felt so let down and was upset by them clearly giving me wrong statements.

Still on AppleCare till the end of the week though...

Many thanks for your ideas and help!

And by doing that I won't risk loosing anything or mess up anything?

I'm sorry, I am just not really knowledgeable with iCloud...

Thank you very much for the help.
I Not only decided to follow your advice, I reset and restored the iPad because it was so troublesome since the first restore ... what can I say, it seems to be working again flawlessly!!

iMessages are there, perfectly synced, photos are there, not stuck on updating anymore....

There us one thing though, if I may ask: I had about 50 tabs open in Safari. If I go to Safari on my iPhone and click on the tab overview, I now see "iPad Pro (1) with tabs and then "iPad Pro (2)" with tabs.

I figured out which one is the current setup, but... is that normal? And how do I get rid of that?

Just this week, when I got the replacement and display repair of my iPhone, I realised that I am far from "good enough" for the technical understanding behind Apple, after 2 years into their ecosystem... feel really stupid.
