They releases a version with

555x

And 560x

Then they added a powerful
Gpu vega 20/10

Will they update this year

Do they really have a reason to update?

They will most certainly update, since new intel CPUs are coming. Also, I’d expect Vega to become standard.

I would expect them to be. Vega was probably just added after as it wasn't ready for a July release but Apple wanted to get it into their computers ASAP. I would tentatively suggest something like this is possible:

Spring release:
- 12 inch MacBook with Amber Lake, Gen 3 keyboard and possibly T2/ Touch ID
- 13 inch non touchbar macbook pro with Whiskey Lake (?) gen 3 KB and possibly T2/ Touch ID (or it is discontinued?)
- iMacs - full redesign?

Summer release:
- 13 & 15 inch macbook pros updated with latest CPUs and GPUs.

If Intel is shipping enough 9th-gen chips to handle whatever demand Apple will have, they will certainly release a 2019 MacBook Pro. If not, then I doubt they do since I do not think AMD will have an upgraded laptop GPU by summer.

The MacBook Pro and Air are their bread and butter for the Mac, so in general, expect them to update those pretty regularly. Recent gap in MacBook Air releases notwithstanding.
