After unlocking my iPhone 5, I feel like a BOSS

Yeah I unlocked for $11 on ebay. Love how they have people inside that are happy to do it for a couple dolalrs.

Who would care to even ask you if your phone is unlocked or not? I have a feeling you'd be offering that information and nobody would be interested.

Nope. Basically an employee has access to the system and will enter your IMEI into the database. Once the phone is whitelisted then when you restore it the next time it will unlock automatically. They may be directly selling on ebay or the seller pays them a bulk rate.
 
Still waiting for my eBay unlock to go through. Before everyone tells me about how I'm screwing the cell company, I walked into my AT&T store and asked them if I could buy the 64Gig iPhone 5 for $849. They said no, if I wasn't eligible for discount they couldn't sell it to me. So I said fine, I'm actually eligible for your stupid "early upgrade", sell me the phone.
 
And to think... someday it will be just another electronic device sitting in a drawer collecting dust.

Hah, weird.
