after update, cursor won't highlight.

what's going on? my cursor won't highlight anything. for instance, i have to click to get the dock to appear, anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it? thanks in advance.

Just a guess... do you have a USB wireless mouse? If so, unplug the dongle and plug it back in.

I don't use a mouse, I just use the trackpad, and I'm having the same issue. It's very annoying.

Oh yeah, I wanted to say, I just restarted my computer and it works well enough now.

So, bottom line: restarting works wonder sometimes.
