Carrier After upgrade, not able to text (AT&T)

Upgraded from 5s, got it activated on can receive calls and make calls. I can iMessage, but cannot send and receive regular text. I'm not too sure but i don't know if the activation is 100% complete. Anyone else knows?

Happened to me on the 5s a few years ago. Went to att and they replaced the sim and re registered the phone and all was good

Guess I have to go to the att store, also my visual voice mail not showing. When i go to voicemail it calls the voicemail and so i can hear them.

If the store isn't close you could always give them a call, but it does sound like a sim issue.
