OS X Age of Empires III on PlayOnMac help needed!

I'm trying to run AOEIII through PlayOnMac (on Mavericks) and it's successfully loaded Steam and downloaded the game, but after clicking play and getting the activation key, I try to select either the Complete Collection, the War Chiefs or Asian Dynasties, but a window pops up for a split second that says "Performing first time setup... Installing (step 1 of 3)." Then this box appears

and the game doesn't load. Does anyone know how I could possibly fix this?
