Since i couldn't get my pre-order for both the june 24 or july 2 dates, then I will take my chances at my local at&t store on launch day. My problem is that I am not the primary account holder, my mother is, and she won't be able to be there with me. I am an authorized account holder, and know the last 4 ssn, will be paying for it with my own debit visa, etc, but I am 17. I am wondering if this will be a big issue when buying the phone.

In order to sign a new contract, I think you have to be 18 or have your mom sign it up for you.

I said I think.......I don't know for sure pab, but you can call the store and ask them.

Unless he's emancipated, a minor (18 and under) is not bound by a contract, i.e., he can get out of it. Because of that, companies generally do not sign contacts with minors. You may need a parent to cosign, or get on their account.
