Hi, I previously posted for advice on an online storage solution which handled exif data and was recommended Picassa. I am using an iPad 2 while travelling, I have a Sony camera with gps and I wanted to create a map on my blog to show our travels. I was careful to chose Picasa as something which could handle exif data and blogsy which works really well with Picasa. I have come to try and make the map and it seems that the ios5 update has rendered all my research useless as the iPad has not stored any exif data for the photos already uploaded in the first few weeks of our travels! They have been deleted from the camera and so have I lost all that data?

I updated just before leaving and selling my beloved MacBook pro. I am starting to regret thinking that an iPad could do everything while traveling. :(

I tried meta browser this morning and it shows no data at all for previously uploaded photos. Is there an answer for me in all this??

I'm getting to the point of thinking I can't go on with the iPad and perhaps I need to get a MBA like my boyfriend...

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Ok, my mistake

Ok, sorry everyone, I have now found the data is indeed stored in Picasa, but now the problem is creating a my maps in google. I can't do it through maps app and it crashes when trying to do it through safari on google. any ideas please?
