now seems like many people are moving over to the white iphone after the pics been released...
maybe if I want the less common one I should get the black one now...

then when someone posts pics of the white one everyone will want black. i say get whatever color you like and not worry about smudges, they are gonna be on the display of both color phones anyway. i think the white one will end up being the rarest and probably a bullseye for thieves. i dont need someone eyeing my flashy white iphone on the subway.

Do most people that have the iphone have it in a case anyway? I would want to protect the phone. So unless you go with a clear case, nobody is ever going to know what color the phone is.

as far as smudges go, I agree. Why is everyone so caught up in the back smudging so much when the front does it a lot worse? You don't hear people complaining about that

Apple claims that the external speaker is improved. I'm curious how much of an improvement it really is.

Agreed. White is the exclusive color for the 16GB and will be the target piece. But, I don't care. I never take my iphone out in the subway or bus unless I'm with someone I know. Heck, I already learned how to change the songs by memorizing the music button locations on the phone. That's all I really do when I take the train. At class, I use the internet.
