aim and ichat

Hello,

I got a macbook a couple of months ago and my girlfriend moved away to israel. She has a pc using aim and I use ichat. I've been trying to audio chat (she has a mic, no camera), but it won't let me... is there any software she needs or i need to get it to work...

Im having the same issues mate! With video as well. It says the invitation has been accepted and erverything, but i only see/hear me.

I think it has something to do with the version of AIM, it has to be 5.9 and not the new one thats out.

I voice chat with one my my friends ... me on ichat, him on pc ... and he uses an app called Trillian. It works like AIM. Just better. Maybe she can try that?

i got her to download trillian but it still doesn't work...

i downloaded skype, but how do you talk to them, don;t you have to use a phone?

lol, u both register a skype username, then add each other to friend list, then click his/her name, ......
