So what I was hoping for with the AIM application was to have it similar to iChat, where I've got the buddy names in my address book (on the mac), and then in iChat you see people's names, not the buddy name handle.

In the iPhone AIM, you still just see the buddy names... lame. I don't have my buddy's names memorized (probably due to the fact that I use iChat all the time).

Boo.

They got arrows next to the names. Maybe at the very least you can set them yourself? Wow, that'd take a long time.

Yes that does work, thanks.

There is a "Nickname", which by default is the buddy name.

You can change this and that's what it displays.

Thanks!

(a better solution would have been to pull this info that I already have compiled from the address book on my mac. At least displaying a real name is possible)
