AIM not working?

I tried it on WiFi, Edge, and 3G... all have the same error.

Could it be a new version will be released today with... PUSH?!

i was having the same problem. go into your settings and try a bad password. let it fail. then put in your correct password. try again.

Thanks! I had tried just entering my real password again (no luck) but the bad password did the trick 🙂 And here I was waiting for AIM to fix something.

delete and re-install works as well 🙄 i'm so damn tired of apps just randomly not working.

Thanks for the fix info 🙂 Will try it now. This one had me scratching my head for a while already.
Still, I wont grumble. Its a free app, and AOL is a big enough company in that im sure they will get a good fix of some kind arranged soon. Unlike the MobileChat clowns 🙄

I got tierd of it not working so I downloaded im+, it has IM plus all the other chat clients out there. I love it becasue now I can have my im people and yahoo people on the same app. 😀

I had the same problem with my iPod touch... it would get stuck connecting and then fail after a while. Upgrading to the 2.1 software appears to have fixed it.
