Hello,
I bought Air 13 A1466 mid2013 without ssd and from what I was able to find, the cheapest way to run it is adapter from apple ssd port to m2, so i need something like this:

and SSD, for example ADATA SU800? Will it work?

[doublepost=1520196243][/doublepost]This won’t work.
It won’t work for a bootable OS.

From what I found it should work, at least it works on yt video.
or
This adapter just reroute path from apple ssd port to "normal" ssd

I got the same adapter you posted in your first post based on recommendation from a trusted friend who has already done this to his MBA. It should work...

Can you say, with what ssd you have it?

I installed a Samsung 950 PRO 512GB stick with this M.2 adapter, formatted it to APFS using Disk Utility software from my High Sierra install thumb drive then installed Mac OS High Sierra.

Here is the link to the adapter I used (in picture above): https://www.ebay.com/itm/112615200702?ul_noapp=true&afsrc=1&rmvSB=true

You can see in the picture below my M.2 adapter connected to my 950 PRO and installed and it does work.

sorry for the late response.... I've been on a business trip lately... planning to run benchmarks on the drive over the weekend but so far I have no issues at all since installing my Samsung 950 PRO M.2 drive... best thing I have done to my MacBook Air :)
