I used my air 2 for exactly 1 hour 26 minutes since last charge today. I used it to browse safari with nothing in the background and brightness about 40%. No videos. Can anyone tell me what the battery life should be? Give a guess, because I'm pretty sure the battery on the air 2 is kinda bad. I have no previous iPad to compare with.

I've been using for two and a half hours total with just Internet and its 69%. This doesn't seem acceptable at all.

Didn't you post this same complaint on about 3 other threads?:roll eyes:

I think the general consensus is that the Air 2 battery performance ranges from about the same, to slightly less than the Air.
Perhaps it's just where I live and work, but I rarely find that I'm away from an electrical outlet for more than about 12 hours.;)
And I've found that battery life is surprisingly good for something this thin and light. As is always the case, perspective on what constitutes 'acceptable' battery life varies from person to person.

What is your brightness set to? I complained about this a few month ago as well. If you have it set to full brightness it will drain your battery big time.

yes i did post about this but this seems to be shocking. I drained the battery completely last night and charged and it seems to be dying awful fast. Im not so sure man. Not trying to be a bother but this is literally the only part im deciding on now. If you would like to see a different topic from me you could check out my ipod topic kind sir :D

Will a store exchange a unit if it's in the return period? Target said I could get a refund back when I bought if I wasn't satisfied(30 days) but do you think that covers defective models? Thanks m8

If you bought it on sale and the sale is now over then go with an exchange. Target or Best Buy will either exchange or give you a refund. If you purchased it at normal price then go with a refund and rebuy it becuase your 30 day warranty restarts with your new purchase.

I can play Hearthstone (online) for over two hours and will not drop below 80%. I also use roughly 40% brightness.

When I had an Air 2, I was getting between 10-12hrs and that included web, games, streaming music. Auto brightness was set to auto. My original Air gets around 12-13 hrs for similar usage.
