Air 2 lag

Got my air 2 since Saturday. When im in the home menu, and i scroll down to get to the search menu it really lags. It freezes for a sec and then continues. Same when im closing out, it freezes for a sec and then continues. What is going on?

On main screen, hold down power button until 'slide to power off' shows.
Let go of power button.
Hold down home button until you see the main screen again.

This flushes the memory and might solve your problem.

I have had my Air 2 since the month after they came out, and it was performing really well on iOS 8, but iOS 9 caused it to have some really bad and choppy animations, and it stutters a lot. I restored it and it helped a little bit, I don't see as much lag anymore, but it does happen occasionally. So restoring it on iTunes and see if that helps.

I can tell you that the 9.3 update is georgeous on the air 2, they optimised it wonderfully so hang tight! It gets better!
