1. Try to boot that system, and see what happens. When in the system, use your keyboard keys to increase brightness and see if that helps.
2. SMC/ NVRAM/ PRAM reset may help
3. Boot into Safe Mode and see if this helps.
4. Connect charger and see if that does the trick.

Best case: It is just totally minimized brightness, that should be fixable using the keyboard keys.
Worst case: Time to take a trip to the Store or buy a new one.

Hi, thank u for answer.
I tryed everything, brightness with key f2 - nothing, resetting smc - nothing.
Disconnected battery and charger and connect battery back and turns on - still dark display.
Nothing is visible on the display until I use a flashlight.
Idk its a bad display or motherboard fuse, but except display backlight and keyboard blacklight macbook fully works without problems.
Yesterday display works normal. Yesterday I read e-mails, MacBook was turned on for about 1hour. And today this problem

see if the MacBook air still emits a screen by using a hdmi port to a monitor or
using a network screen sharing if there is another mac around.
this will let you know if there is a display signal from the macbook air is strong enough.

in my experience with macbook sometime that dang thing will work within hours.
and realize a cat, something pressed a code were the display or trackpad was locked.

sometimes zapping the PRAM twice helped many macbooks

Air is without connectors to external monitor. But MacBook works, when I flashlighting to lcd I can use MacBook normal. Okay I try pram, thank u.
And I reinstalled Mac OS to factory and without change.
I think is a hardware problem, but lcd flex cable? Lcd backlight k.o? Fuse on motherboard k.o? Idk guys I don't know what to do anymore Im scared if bad motherboard I love this laptop

Looks in good condition.

Or is any way how to check if board is OK without going to service? Thank u mate

I really think it has something to do with the logic board. I also noticed that one of the screws that hold the CPU fan in place is missing. Not sure if it has ever been disassembled.

You can check the fuse and also can check the Pina if they have voltage..

But usually the issue in those is in the logic board not the display

No, dissassembly first time, I buyed this laptop new. I dissassembled screws today.
Oh, its bad. So sell laptop for spares and buy new? Or how much cost a repair in service? (United Kingdom)

Find a repair person who can perform board-level repairs. If it is a backlight fuse on the board, it can be replaced.

Make sure the battery is unplugged when disconnecting or connecting the display port attachment
this is how displays burn out.
