I just got the highly acclaimed "Air Display" app and I'm wondering if anyone knows how to improve the performance. I'm not having an "issue" as much as it isn't really doing what I want, but this could just be something I can't change.

I'm using my "new iPad" as a second display for editing videos in Final Cut. I want to use the amazing display for testing the video, but it gets very stuttery. Is this just because of my WiFi speed? Does anyone know how to improve the performance? It gets better if I disable the Retina Display, but it's still not fluid. Even if it was, though, it would kind of defeat the purpose of utilizing the display.

Thanks!

It's that the new iPad's GPU/CPU aren't fast enough to do what you want it to do. It works alot smoother if you turn off HiDPI off but then you wont be able to use it at the resolution you want.
