Hi

Is the 8-core M2 graphics performance equal to the 8-core M1 graphics performance?
Or is only the 10-core M2 more powerful in that regard?
It's a lot of extra money to bump up the cores to 10..

Unsure as Apple's only graphs represent fully enabled M1 v M2

We won't know for certain until benchmarks and independent reviews are performed.

It's not certain currently but given that the M2 is based on the A15-chip and the M1 is based on the A14, I reckon there will be some performance gains despite having the same amount of cores.

How big the performance jump will be in real world terms remains to be seen.

Something else to consider is the M2 has the media engine so it's bound to be better at exporting / rendering ProRes video. In games, I'm not sure how much difference it'll make but there's bound to be FPS tests in the coming months.
