Air pods case not charging

quite odd how the air pods are charging themselves but the case isn’t. Trip to Apple store I think but it’s past warranty hmmm..

Depending how out of warranty you are, they might replace it for free. But I’m not aware of any troubleshooting for the battery case, other than the reset button.
