Has anyone been able to confirm the airfly pro works with APP2’s? I have an off brand transmitter right now that will not pair with them and my understanding is that the Airfly Pro is the only Bluetooth transmitter currently on the market that will connect to the new airpods pro.

Also, if anyone else is using APP2 with a different brand of Bluetooth transmitter please post the brand/model.

I have the Airily Pro and it works great with the AirPods Pro 2.

According to Twelve South's website; "AirPods Pro (and generation) users: AirFly (2nd gen) is not currently compatible with AirPods Pro (2nd generation). We recommend AirFly Pro for AirPods Pro (2nd generation). However, AirFly (2nd gen) works GREAT with all other AirPod models & wireless headphones."

I wanted to circle back around to this. I purchased the airfly pro and although it pairs with my airpods pro 2’s I get no audio. I have tried pairing/unpairing and turning off Bluetooth on my other apple devices (ipdad/macbook) and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? Thanks!

My AirPods Pro 2nd generation work fine with the AirFly Pro and I'm on the latest AirPods firmware of 5B58. I also unpaired them and reset the AirFly and they paired and played music fine. I would reach out to AirFly as the AirFly Pro may be defective.

Did you ever end up getting them to work because I am having the same problem as you
If so what did you do to get it to work?

I have not. It has been recommended to me to disable Bluetooth on all my mac devices, reset the airfly, and then reset the airpods and try the initial pairing that way. I haven’t had a chance to do it yet, but maybe you will have some luck. Please respond back if you try and let me know either way.

I had the same issue with mine, contacted Twelve South, they recommended the same thing. Didn't help, wasted like an hour resetting and rebooting and repairing everything.

In my case around 50% of the time I would get audio, but only in one ear, or sometimes just unbelievably crackly (like analog static).

They currently don't have a solution for me.

I've the same issue, but I don't get audio at all - AirPods Pro 2 has latest firmware. It pairs without issues, but no audio at all. Tried everything - disconnected AirPods from all devices, switched off bluetooth everywhere, reset both AirFly and AirPods etc.

My other two headphones Bose QC and Bang And Olufsen Beoplay works perfectly with same setup, so clearly AirPods Pro 2 are not compatible with this device. No idea how it works for others, makes zero sense.

Ran into the same issue the other day when I wanted to play on my Switch. I have an original AirFly, so the first generation, and while it worked fine with the AirPods Pro and the Max, it didn't with Pro2. It would connect, but no audio. Must be something about the new ones.

I've tried several Bluetooth 5.3 transmitters currently sold on Amazon, and I couldn't get any of them to reliably work with the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen. I was able to get one to work after factory resetting the AirPods and pairing to the transmitter before pairing with an Apple device, but after I paired with an Apple device, I no longer got audio with the transmitter.

I decided to dig out an old TaoTronics TT-BA07 with Bluetooth 5.0 that I stopped using, since the transmitter doesn't have volume buttons, so the sound was too quiet with my older AirPods, which don't have volume control either. Ironically, the transmitter works fine with my AirPods Pro 2nd Gen. And since those AirPods support volume control by sliding up and down on the stem, I think the transmitter's lack of volume control won't be an issue.

All of the ones from Amazon that I found to be incompatible were newer models using Bluetooth 5.2 or 5.3, which I thought would work well, since the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen also supports 5.3. However, it appears that the older transmitters with Bluetooth 5.0 or with older chipsets may be the answer. I bet that has something to do with why the newer AirFly 2nd Gen is not not compatible.

I'm returning AirFly Pro and purchased MEE audio Connect instead. Works perfectly for me, paired in seconds, get audio in both ears, no lag watching YT videos that I can tell. Haven't tested battery life, but people in comments mentioned it's great, e.g. someone watched 3 movies and got 50% left etc.

It doesn't have transmit function as AirFly so can't connect to your car AUX for example, but for me main reason is ability to connect AirPods to in-flight entertainment system so no big deal.
