Hi everyone.

My MacBook has been in to Apple to get repaired (logic board and Touch ID replaced) and I got it back today and the battery count has increased from 15-25. Is this normal when going in for a service to get the logic board replaced? Also, the health has increased to 100% from 98%.

They only had it one day, so I don’t think they could’ve got through 10 cycles in that period.

Thanks

Mark

If the logic board was replaced, yes I can see how final diagnostic tests could run 6-7 cycles. So 10 cycles seems ok. As per battery health increase, that battery health indicator is an algorithm (approximation).

Interesting, I could understand getting through ten cycles within a few days - but not within 12 hours. Received in morning and then shipped again at 6pm.
