I bought an Air today, and got it home and started it up, but about 10 minutes into use, the touchpad started playing up. Initially I assumed it was a little unsensitive, because it wasn't responding to my touches. But a few minutes later, the on-screen mouse started behaving erratically: moving fast around the screen, clicking stuff, and I couldn't control it at all.
So I reset and solved the problem. For 10 minutes, until it started again.
After about 5 restarts and repeated dodginess, I've decided it's faulty.
Do you think this is guarantee covered? Has anyone else had this?

Yes this should be covered by the warranty.

Perhaps its affected by the heat since it seems to take 10 minutes to begin occurring.

I know I'm a rook here, but I've noticed that with the size of the touchpad, I keep inadvertently dragging an extra finger on it - resulting in weird cursor activity.

I also once wiped a touch pad with a screen cleaner wipe - that screwed it up for a while too. Just a thought.
