IMO the 17 Pro feels nicer in the hand than the Air. I know that may be an unpopular opinion but the Air is wider and although it’s lighter and thinner than the 17 Pro feels a little more unwieldy than the 17 Pro. The 17 Pro although thicker and heavier, isn’t as wide as the iPhone Air and it just fits nice and snug in your hand with no need for finger gymnastics like you still need at times with the Air.

I don't disagree with this either. It's just a better one-handed form factor, even if "chunkier" or heavier. Finger gymnastics is a great term, and I'm in the same boat - still have to use them on the Air one-handed, even though it's very nice to hold and use in general.

My credit card statement wishes I would've done it in my head. Waiting for all these refunds has me sweating. I also had to go up a storage capacity level to get back to the Pro, because I couldn't find what I originally had, in stock around me. So I am paying more than I planned.

I was so ashamed by the time of the last return, that I drove halfway across the state to a different Apple Store where they wouldn't recognize me.

According to Apple's return policy, a 14 day return policy requires the original packaging and contents/accessories. Now if there were a defect, maybe they'd make an exception.
Man, I feel like we would be best friends 😆 except bad influences on each other because of the same mindset.

I had that happen too, ashamed to go back again. I would have had to drive 2 hours instead of 20 mins to the one in my town, so I just went in and avoided the people that helped me before haha

After several swaps, I am keeping the 17PM.

Love the air, best phone and first iPhone I was excited about for years. Went from the 14 pm to the Air. Miles more comfortable to hold and pocket. I also absolutely hated the camera system on the 14PM it would regularly switch lenses at the last second to take a picture of my finger or something blurry. With a single camera it just works every time which is exactly what I wanted.
