iPad Air vs Air 2 for iMovie

I use my iPad for recording basketball games (1hr in length) and numerous other things. Anyone have any experience with the Air 2 and iMovie?

Is it noticeably faster?

I know its benchmarks are but wasn't sure if that translated into real advantage.

For those uses, the 2gb of RAM will be noticeable.

In general use, there isn't much difference but when it comes to exporting, the Air 2 is almost twice as fast as my mini with retina which has the same A7 as the Air, just clocked slightly slower.
iMovie on the iPad Air 2 is a great experience, I just wish they would add some more features to iMovie to make the most of it.
