AirDrop kills my wifi

Running OS X 10.10 on a Late-2013 rMBP, and I have a BTHomeHub 5 router, with the MBP connected on the 5Ghz band via 802.11ac.

I also have an iPhone 6 Plus running 8.0.2 and a Mac Mini (latest model) running OS X 10.9.5.

I've noticed if I try to AirDrop anything between the MBP and the Mini or iPhone, my MBP disconnected totally from my normal WiFi and won't rejoin. I have to reboot the machine.

Just me?

Apple's running this AirDrop fest thing so hopefully they fix all the AirDrop woes.
