Hi Everyone,

I'm leaving th UK for a trip to Australia and wish to take my iPad 3 and iPhone 4s with me.
I checked with Cathay Pacific today about keeping these items charged and they said I need an EmPower Airline Adapter.
Can anyone advise about how safe they are to use with my Apple kit and where in the UK would you suggest I get one?

Mant thanks

Airline travelers use them all the time. They're as safe as any other type of power adapter. What's more important is the quality of the specific adapter you're considering.

I flew recently from the UK with Cathay Pacific and bought an Apple airline adapter especially. It didn't fit but the standard Magsafe power adapter did using a standard UK plug. I think it was also okay for European plugs.

I thought Apples MagSafe only worked with their laptops - So does it work with iPads too?
