Love the new Airmail for iPhone but one thing is driving me crazy.
When I receive a push notification of a new email on my lock screen there is no badge count icon showing up on the app's icon when I unlock the phone.
I have to actually open the app and then close the app before the badge count will show up.
I have the badge count set to unread and have tried all the other badge count settings with the same results.
Do I have some settings off or is this a bug in the program?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have not had this particular problem with Airmail. However, after about 24 hours of using the program I stopped getting any notifications. I didn't even know I had an emial unless I opened the program. I had to remove the email account an set it back up again and I started getting notifications again.

For your problem have you checked the iPhone settings for airmail notifications to see if badge is switched to on?
Also try turning notifications off and on again.
If the above still does not work you might try deleting the account and setting it back up again.

I think the program has bugs but it is version 1.0 so hopefully they will be addressed quickly.

I've had it hit and miss. Sometimes they're there sometimes they're not. Went back to mail.app until next update.

They just updated it yesterday.
The problem I'm having only happens when I have the app closed. As long as it's running in the background the badge count works fine.

Try disabling/enabling the account. It should refresh it on the push server.
